Viktor began playing tennis in Belgrade, Serbia at the age of 5 with his first coach, countryman Nenad Trifunovic. The son of a lawyer and an economist, Viktor moved from Belgrade to Boca Raton, Florida, at age 13, which explains his fluency of the English language and preference to play on hard courts.

Milos Jelisavcic completes Viktor’s team as his fitness trainer who has been essential to Viktor’s success over the years, establishing him as one of the fittest guys on tour.

Viktor’s childhood idol was Andre Agassi, who inspired him to pursue professional tennis. Viktor enjoys playing and watching soccer, and at young age he was not sure which sport to choose, tennis or soccer.
